Our Calacatta Venato quartz brings a softer presence to the space. Its gentle veining moves lightly across a clean white surface, adding just enough detail without overwhelming the overall design. It’s a material that works quietly in the background, allowing the room to feel open, bright, and composed.
Large, uninterrupted surfaces play a key role here. The island, worktops, and full-height backsplash are all kept seamless, allowing the stone to read as one continuous canvas. The effect is subtle but powerful—it creates a sense of clarity that defines the entire space.
A continuous shelf in matching Calacatta Venato runs across the length of the wall, sitting just above the main worktop. Clean, minimal, and perfectly aligned, it extends the presence of the stone beyond the surface itself. The only pause comes at the extractor, which allows the layout to breathe without breaking the overall rhythm.
The palette remains intentionally minimal, with warm brass accents and muted tones adding just enough contrast to keep the space from feeling flat. Even the detailing follows this same approach. Open shelving, pared-back styling, and clean cabinetry keep the focus where it should be, on proportion, material, and light.
In the bathrooms, the narrative becomes more layered, with each space developing its own distinct identity while remaining connected through the use of stone. In the darker, more atmospheric bathroom, Palermo is used to striking effect within the vanity. Set against a dramatic hand-painted mural depicting golden koi carp gliding through water, framed by delicate lily leaves, the stone introduces a sense of balance. Its light base, threaded with deeper brown veining, bridges the richness of the wall and the depth of the dark marble flooring below. The space instantly feels anchored in its weight and contrast.
In contrast, another bathroom introduces our Calacatta Gold Superior, where the tone shifts toward a lighter, more classical elegance. Here, the stone is used across the vanity and extended into a floating shelf below, creating a sense of structure while maintaining visual lightness. The warm gold veining is drawn out by the surrounding finishes and lighting, giving the space a refined glow that feels understated yet unmistakably luxurious.
A further expression of Calacatta Gold Superior appears within the laundry room, a space that, in most homes, would remain purely functional. Here, however, it is treated with the same level of importance as the principal rooms. The stone wraps across the surfaces in full coverage, forming a clean, uninterrupted backdrop that elevates the entire space. Even the smallest details are considered, reinforcing the overarching philosophy of the project, that no area is secondary.
Perhaps the most dramatic departure comes in the deep green bar room, where a black grand piano takes centre stage, immediately commanding attention within the space. Surrounding it, Calacatta Oro is introduced as a counterbalance, its light, expressive surface cutting through the depth of the room and giving the composition room to breathe. This richly layered setting is designed for atmosphere and occasion, with every element arranged in dialogue with the piano’s presence. The stone rises across the feature wall and continues behind glass cabinetry, becoming a luminous surface, especially when paired with integrated lighting that highlights its veining and depth. Glass shelving appears to float within the composition, allowing the stone to remain fully visible while adding another layer of refinement. The result is a space that feels curated and immersive, where material, lighting, and form come together around a singular focal point.
